Reverse Engineering

In order to provide the best results of designed object, together with shortening time of all process realization we perform measurements using 3D method. In this process we use CimCore and Faro measurement arm, 3000i series is equipped with a scanning head, which allows for measurements by placing following measurements points in three-dimensional space.

This measurement arm is made from carbon fibre, is characterized by rigidity, resistance and minimal thermal expansion. Measurement scope of this device is 3,6m with measurement tolerance ± 0,075 mm. This device, thanks to its construction, allows for unlimited rotation of each arm axis, what guarantee making measurements even in hard accessible places. Another advantage of this device is that, is easy to transport, allowing for making measurement in each place all over the world. There are only few examples of our measurements performed in power plants in USA, Malesia, Great Brittan.

Using this kind of geometry measurements makes possible quick and precise parameters definition, what is impossible using traditional methods. Geometry mapping is possible for all device as well as only for separate element, for example for simple stator winding bar. In this case, to make all measurement necessary is only diameter and core length. After all measurements all mapped parameters are transmit to Pro/Engineer, where the real model is prepared.
